AN ACT relating to courts; encouraging the Office of the Court Administrator to allocate certain money for the establishment of a mental health court within the Eighth Judicial District of the State of Nevada; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. The Office of the Court Administrator is hereby

1-2  encouraged, before allocating money for any other purpose, to

1-3  allocate money from the special account administered pursuant to

1-4  subsections 6, 7 and 8 of section 1 of Assembly Bill No. 29 of this

1-5  session, to the extent that such money is available, for the

1-6  establishment of a mental health court pursuant to NRS 176A.250

1-7  within the Eighth Judicial District of the State of Nevada.

 


2-1  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
