AN ACT relating to fireworks; requiring the Secretary of State to provide for the submission to the voters of an advisory question of whether the Legislature shall direct the State Fire Marshal to regulate the sale and use of fireworks; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. The Secretary of State shall include on the ballot

1-2  for the general election held on November 2, 2004, the following

1-3  question in substantially the following form:

 

1-4  Shall the Nevada Legislature direct the State Fire

1-5  Marshal to adopt regulations to regulate the sale and use

1-6  of fireworks in all counties of this state?
