AN ACT making an appropriation to Douglas County for the construction of an emergency well at the China Springs Youth Camp; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to Douglas County the sum of $103,175 for the construction of

1-3  an emergency well at the China Springs Youth Camp and for costs

1-4  of hauling water to the facilities until the pipeline is constructed.

1-5  Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-6  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

1-7  completion of the project or July 1, 2007, whichever is first, and

1-8  reverts to the State General Fund as soon as all payments of money

1-9  committed have been made.

1-10      Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
