AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Division of Child and Family Services of the Department of Human Resources for an unanticipated shortfall in money for medical care and higher-level placements for Medicaid-eligible children; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

    Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

Fund to the Division of Child and Family Services of the

Department of Human Resources the sum of $1,113,588 for an

unanticipated shortfall in money for medical care and higher-level

placements for Medicaid-eligible children. This appropriation is

supplemental to that made by section 19 of chapter 570, Statutes of

Nevada 2001, at page 2861.

    Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
