AN ACT making an appropriation to the University and Community College System of Nevada for the renovation of the former Mesquite High School for use as part of the Community College System; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the University and Community College System of Nevada

1-3  the sum of $970,000 for the renovation of the former Mesquite High

1-4  School for use as part of the Community College System.

1-5  Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-6  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure upon

1-7  completion of the project and reverts to the State General Fund as

1-8  soon as all payments of money committed have been made.

1-9  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
