AN ACT making an appropriation to the Nevada Center for Ethics and Health Policy for the training of state and local leaders and health care providers regarding the human and ethical aspects of bioterrorism; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the Nevada Center for Ethics and Health Policy for the

1-3  training of state and local leaders and health care providers

1-4  regarding the human and ethical aspects of bioterrorism:

1-5  For fiscal year 2003-2004......... $150,000

1-6  For fiscal year 2004-2005......... $150,000

1-7  Sec. 2.  The sums appropriated by section 1 of this act are

1-8  available for either fiscal year. Any balance of those sums must not

1-9  be committed for expenditure after June 30, 2005, and reverts to the

1-10  State General Fund as soon as all payments of money committed

1-11  have been made.

 

 


2-1  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
