AN ACT relating to state financial administration; requiring the Department of Personnel to increase the level of compensation of investigators in the Office of the Attorney General and law enforcement positions in the Division of Wildlife of the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. The Department of Personnel shall increase the
1-2 level of compensation of all investigator positions in the Office of
1-3 the Attorney General and all law enforcement positions within the
1-4 Division of Wildlife of the State Department of Conservation and
1-5 Natural Resources by one grade on the classified employee
1-6 compensation schedule effective July 1, 2003. For any positions in
1-7 the unclassified service, the increase in the level of compensation
1-8 must approximate an increase of one grade on the classified
1-9 employee compensation schedule.
1-10 Sec. 2. This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
