AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Department of Agriculture for the construction of a drift fence in Palomino Valley; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General
1-2 Fund to the State Department of Agriculture the sum of $170,000
1-3 for the construction of a drift fence in Palomino Valley to prevent
1-4 cattle that are grazing on the open range from roaming into
1-5 developed areas.
1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by
1-7 section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after
1-8 completion of the project or July 1, 2007, whichever is first, and
1-9 reverts to the State General Fund as soon as all payments of money
1-10 committed have been made.
1-11 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
