The Committee on Educationwas called to order at 9:00 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairman Wendell P. Williams.

Chairman Williams asked for Committee approval to reconsider Senate Bill 230.

 

 

Senate Bill 230:  Makes various changes regarding transportation of pupils. (BDR 34-641)

 

ASSEMBLYMAN MANENDO MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS AS AMENDED.

 

ASSEMBLYWOMAN KOIVISTO SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED, WITH ASSEMBLYMAN MABEY AND ASSEMBLYWOMAN ANGLE VOTING NO.

 

 

There being no further business before the Committee, Chairman Williams adjourned the meeting at 9:02 p.m.
