The Committee on Elections, Procedures, and Ethicswas called to order at 11:15 a.m., on Thursday, February 13, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairwoman Chris Giunchigliani.

Chairwoman Giunchigliani called a Committee meeting behind the Bar to address introduction of BDR 24-294 and BDR 23-47 to the floor of the Assembly.

 

• BDR 24-294 – Makes various changes to laws governing elections  (A.B. 125).

 

ASSEMBLYMAN McCLEARY MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 24‑294.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN CONKLIN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT.

• BDR 23-47 – Repeals certain provisions relating to Commission on Ethics  (A.B. 127).

 

ASSEMBLYMAN ANDERSON MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 23-47.

 

ASSEMBLYWOMAN McCLAIN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT.

 

Chairwoman Giunchigliani adjourned the meeting at 11:17 a.m.
