The Committee on Elections, Procedures, and Ethicswas called to order at 11:26 a.m., on Tuesday, March 4, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairwoman Chris Giunchigliani.

Chairwoman Giunchigliani called a Committee meeting behind the Bar to address introduction of BDR 24-270 and BDR 24-336 to the floor of the Assembly.

 

• BDR 24-270 – Provides Voters’ Bill of Rights (A.B. 235).

 

ASSEMBLYMAN CONKLIN MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 24-270.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN CHRISTENSEN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT.

• BDR 24-336 – Makes various changes concerning primary city elections and general city elections (A.B. 233).

 

ASSEMBLYMAN GRADY MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 24-336.

 

ASSEMBLYWOMAN McCLAIN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THOSE PRESENT.
