The Committee on Government Affairswas called to order at 12:05 p.m., on Monday, March 24, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairman Mark Manendo.

Chairman Manendo asked for a Committee introduction of BDR 21-274 (A.B. 499).

 

• BDR 21-274 – Authorizes governing body of local government to create maintenance districts to pay cost of maintaining and improving local improvement projects and other undertakings (A.B. 499).

 

ASSEMBLYMAN COLLINS MOVED FOR A COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF BDR 21-274.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN ATKINSON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.  (Mr. Christensen, Mr. McCleary, and Ms. Pierce were absent for the vote.)

 

There being no further business before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 12:07 p.m.
