The Committee on Taxationwas called to order at 11:25 a.m., on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairman David Parks.

Chairman Parks asked for a Committee introduction of BDR 32-756.

 

• BDR 32-756 – Imposes and increases certain taxes and fees and makes various changes to provide additional state revenue and to stabilize revenue base of state. (A.B. 281)

 

ASSEMBLYWOMAN MCCLAIN MOVED FOR COMMITTEE INTRODUCTION OF BDR 32-756.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.  (Mr. Goldwater and Mr. Arberry were not present for the vote.)

 

As there was no further business before the Committee, Chairman Parks adjourned the meeting at 11:27 a.m.
