The Committee on Taxationwas called to order at 11:30 p.m., on Friday, April 11, 2003, behind the Bar of the Assembly by Chairman David Parks.

Chairman Parks asked for Committee approval to reconsider Assembly Bill 366.

 

Assembly Bill 366:  Provides exemption from governmental services tax for vehicles registered by resident of Nevada who is in Armed Forces of United States and required to live in another state. (BDR 32-347)

 

ASSEMBLYMAN GRIFFIN MOVED TO RECONSIDER A.B. 366.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN HETTRICK SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

 

 

Chairman Parks suggested the Committee amend and do pass and re-refer A.B. 366 to Ways and Means.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN ANDERSON MOVED TO AMEND AND DO PASS AND RE-REFER A.B. 366 TO WAYS AND MEANS.

 

ASSEMBLYMAN GRADY SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

 

There being no further business before the Committee, Chairman Parks adjourned the meeting at 11:32 a.m.
