The Senate Committee on Commerce and Laborwas called to order by Chairman Randolph J. Townsend, at 12:20 p.m., on Monday, March 24, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Townsend:

I have called a meeting on the Senate Floor for the purpose of receiving a committee introduction on two bill draft requests (BDRs), BDR 10-791 and BDR 52-1288.

 

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 10-791: Makes various changes related to common‑interest communities. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 438.)

 

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 52-1288: Makes various changes relating to contractors and projects involving residential pools and spas. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 437.)


SENATOR NEAL MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 10-791 AND BDR 52‑1288.

 

SENATOR SHAFFER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATORS HARDY AND CARLTON WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
