The Senate Committee on Financewas called to order by Chairman William J. Raggio, at 11:55 a.m., on Tuesday, February 25, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

         SENATOR MATHEWS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

         THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

         SENATOR RAWSON MOVED FOR INTRODUCTION OF BDR 34-636.

 

         SENATOR COFFIN SECONDED THE MOTION.

                                   

         THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

BILL DRAFT REQUEST (BDR) S-616: Makes appropriation to Retired Justice Duty Fund for salaries for senior judges to increase coverage in Second and Eighth Judicial Districts and for emergency requests in smaller counties in Nevada. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 209).

      

        SENATOR RAWSON MOVED FOR INTRODUCTION OF BDR S–616.

 

        SENATOR MATHEWS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

        THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
