The Senate Committee on Government Affairswas called to order by Chairman Ann O'Connell, at 12:25 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Senator O’Connell opened discussion on Assembly Bill (A.B.) 552.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 552: Making technical corrections to certain measures previously approved by 72nd Session of Nevada Legislature. (BDR S‑1367)

 

Senator O’Connell was concerned the language in the bill would authorize school districts to place ballot questions on the ballot and requested clarification.

 

Senator O’Connell recessed the meeting at 12:40 p.m. until the call of the chair.

 

Senator O’Connell reconvened the meeting at 11:33 p.m.

 

SENATOR CARE MOVED TO DO PASS A.B. 552.

 

SENATOR TIFFANY SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATORS TOWNSEND AND HARDY WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
