The Senate Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chairman Mark E. Amodei, at 11:21 a.m., on Tuesday, February 11, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Amodei presented Bill Draft Request (BDR) 1-248 for committee introduction.

 

BILL DRAFT REQUEST 1-248: Makes various changes relating to health care       provider liability in tort actions. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 97.)

 

            SENATOR CARE MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 1-248.

 

            SENATOR WIENER SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

           

            THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATOR WASHINGTON WAS ABSENT FOR   THE VOTE.)
