The Senate Committee on Judiciary was called to order by Chairman Mark E. Amodei, at 11:15 a.m., on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Amodei introduced Bill Draft Request (BDR) 14-415, BDR 15-375, BDR 2-614, and BDR 14-615.
BILL DRAFT REQUEST 14-415: Eliminates limitation on period of time in which county or city may authorize imposition of certain administrative assessments for provision of court facilities. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 107.)
BILL DRAFT REQUEST 15-375: Aggregates value of property damaged or destroyed for purposes of determining penalty if one or more persons place graffiti on or otherwise deface property pursuant to scheme or continuing course of conduct. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 105.)
BILL DRAFT REQUEST 2-614: Authorizes county clerks to impose additional fee for filing of certain actions and responses thereto in district courts to offset portion of costs of providing technology in courts. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 106.)
BILL DRAFT REQUEST 14-615: Provides for additional administrative assessment to be collected in certain cases involving misdemeanors to pay for certain programs established by district courts. (Later introduced as Senate Bill 108.)
SENATOR WIENER MOVED TO INTRODUCE BDR 14-415, BDR 15-375, BDR 2-614, AND BDR 14-615.
SENATOR MCGINNESS SECONDED THE MOTION.
THE MOTION CARRIED. (SENATORS CARE AND WASHINGTON WERE ABSENT FOR THE VOTE.)
