The Senate Committee on Legislative Affairs and Operations was called to order by Chairman Maurice E. Washington, at 12:25 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Washington informed the committee the Assembly had amended Senate Bill (S.B.) 216, and was requesting the committee concur with the amendment.

 

SENATE BILL 216 (3rd Reprint): Creates interim legislative committee to review Tahoe Regional Planning Compact and oversee Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and Marlette Lake Water System and expands duties of Legislative Committee on Public Lands. (BDR 17-175)

SENATOR CEGAVSKE MOVED TO CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 969 TO S.B. 216.

 

SENATOR TITUS SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION FAILED. (SENATORS RAGGIO, RAWSON, WIENER, AND MATHEWS VOTED NO.)
