The Senate Committee on Transportationwas called to order by Chairman Raymond C. Shaffer, at 1:45 p.m., on Tuesday, May 27, 2003, on the Senate Floor of the Legislative Building, Carson City, Nevada. There was no Agenda. There was no Attendance Roster.

Chairman Shaffer called the floor meeting for the purpose of discussing Amendment No. 917 to Assembly Bill 518. He requested Senator Nolan and Senator Care discuss this further and come back to the committee with a recommendation.

 

ASSEMBLY BILL 518 (2nd Reprint): Temporarily prohibits increase in number of limousines in operation and directs legislative study of issues relating to allocation of limousines. (BDR S-1102)

 

Chairman Shaffer asked if the committee would concur with Assembly Amendment No. 878 to Senate Bill (S.B.) 116.

 

SENATE BILL 116 (2nd Reprint): Revises provisions relating to use of equipment to secure children traveling in certain motor vehicles. (BDR 43-87)

 

SENATOR HARDY MOVED TO CONCUR WITH AMENDMENT NO. 878 TO S.B. 116.

 

SENATOR NOLAN SECONDED THE MOTION.

 

THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
