AN ACT relating to rural preservation neighborhoods; eliminating the prospective expiration of provisions for the protection of rural preservation neighborhoods; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. Section 36 of chapter 619, Statutes of Nevada 1999,

1-2  at page 3376, is hereby amended to read as follows:

1-3  Sec. 36.  1.  This section and sections 1 to 13,

1-4  inclusive, and 14 of this act become effective on October 1,

1-5  1999.

1-6  2.  Sections 15 and 33 of this act become effective at

1-7  12:01 a.m. on October 1, 1999.

1-8  3.  Sections 23, 28 and 35 of this act become effective on

1-9  December 31, 1999.

1-10      4.  Section 30 of this act becomes effective on January 1,

1-11  2000.

1-12      5.  Sections 24 to 27, inclusive, 29, 31 and 32 of this act

1-13  become effective at 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2000.

1-14      6.  Section 13.3 of this act becomes effective on July 1,

1-15  2000.


2-1  7.  Section 34 of this act becomes effective at 12:01 a.m.

2-2  on July 1, 2001.

2-3  [8.  The provisions of section 8 of this act expire by

2-4  limitation on June 1, 2004.]

2-5  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
