AN ACT making an appropriation to the Continuing Education Division of the Community College of Southern Nevada for expenses relating to the relocation of the Professional Driving Center and the operation of the Continuing Education Division; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the Continuing Education Division of the Community

1-3  College of Southern Nevada the sum of $1,000,000 to be distributed

1-4  as follows:

1-5  1.  For expenses relating to the relocation of the Professional

1-6  Driving School the sum of $500,000.

1-7  2.  For expenses relating to the operating costs of the

1-8  Continuing Education Division the sum of $500,000.

1-9  Sec. 2.  Any remaining balance of the appropriation made by

1-10  section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after

2-1  June 30, 2005, and reverts to the State General Fund as soon as

2-2  possible.

2-3  Sec. 3.  This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.
