AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Division of Child and Family Services of the Department of Human Resources for an unanticipated shortfall in money for medical care and higher-level placements for Medicaid-eligible children; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the Division of Child and Family Services of the

1-3  Department of Human Resources the sum of $1,113,588 for an

1-4  unanticipated shortfall in money for medical care and higher-level

1-5  placements for Medicaid-eligible children. This appropriation is

1-6  supplemental to that made by section 19 of chapter 570, Statutes of

1-7  Nevada 2001, at page 2861.

1-8  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
