AN ACT making supplemental appropriations to the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy of the Department of Human Resources for shortfalls in budgeting in Fiscal Year 2002-2003 for the Nevada Check Up Program and for the Medicaid caseload and county-match requirements; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State
1-2 General Fund to the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy
1-3 of the Department of Human Resources the sum of $510,155 for
1-4 shortfall in budgeting in Fiscal Year 2002-2003 for the Nevada
1-5 Check Up Program. This appropriation is supplemental to that made
1-6 by section 19 of chapter 570, Statutes of Nevada 2001, at page 2860.
1-7 2. There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund to
1-8 the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy of the Department
2-1 of Human Resources the sum of $9,053,621 for shortfall in
2-2 budgeting in Fiscal Year 2002-2003 for the State’s share of the
2-3 Medicaid caseload and county-match requirements. This
2-4 appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 19 of chapter
2-5 570, Statutes of Nevada 2001, at page 2860.
2-6 Sec. 2. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
