AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy of the Department of Human Resources for a shortfall in budgeting in Fiscal Year 2002-2003.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the Division of Health Care Financing and Policy of the

1-3  Department of Human Resources the sum of $11,678,558 for

1-4  shortfall in budgeting in Fiscal Year 2002-2003 for the State’s share

1-5  of the Medicaid caseload and county-match requirements. This

1-6  appropriation is supplemental to that made by section 19 of chapter

1-7  570, Statutes of Nevada 2001, at page 2860.

1-8  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
