2-1  Whereas, They undertake this duty and prepare to make the

2-2  ultimate sacrifice out of love for their country and the freedoms for

2-3  which it stands; and

2-4  Whereas, The men and women leave behind spouses, children

2-5  and parents who suffer great anxiety and make great sacrifices to

2-6  enable our servicemen and women to fulfill their patriotic

2-7  obligation; now, therefore, be it

2-8  Resolved by the Assembly of the State of Nevada, the

2-11  women; and be it further

2-12      Resolved, That the members of the Nevada Legislature join

2-13  with all Nevadans in laying aside debates about the prudence of the

2-14  cause in which our country is engaged and pray that this conflict

2-15  may speedily end and that these brave men and women may return

2-16  safely home to their families and friends; and be it further

2-17      Resolved, That the Chief Clerk of the Assembly prepare and

2-18  transmit a copy of this resolution to the Commanding Officers of all
