Amend the bill as a whole by deleting sections 1 through 3 and adding new sections designated sections 1 and 2, following the enacting clause, to read as follows:
“Section 1. The Office of the Court Administrator is hereby encouraged, before allocating money for any other purpose, to allocate money from the special account administered pursuant to subsections 6, 7 and 8 of section 1 of Assembly Bill No. 29 of this session, to the extent that such money is available, for the establishment of a mental health court pursuant to NRS 176A.250 within the Eighth Judicial District of the State of Nevada.
Sec. 2. This act becomes effective on July 1, 2003.”.
Amend the title of the bill to read as follows:
“AN ACT relating to courts; encouraging the Office of the Court Administrator to allocate certain money for the establishment of a mental health court within the Eighth Judicial District of the State of Nevada; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.”.
