AN ACT relating to gaming; repealing the prohibition on the assignment of the right to periodic payments of winnings from gaming; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. NRS 463.3669 is hereby repealed.

1-2  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.

 

 

1-3  TEXT OF REPEALED SECTION

 

 

1-4  463.3669  Assignment of right to periodic payments of

1-5   winnings. No right of periodic payments of winnings is

1-6   assignable by a patron, in whole or in part, except that periodic

1-7   payments may be paid to the estate of a deceased patron or,

1-8   pursuant to an order of dissolution of marriage entered by a court of

1-9   competent jurisdiction, to the former spouse of a patron.
