AN ACT making an appropriation to the Retired Justice Duty Fund for salaries for senior judges to increase coverage in the Second and Eighth Judicial Districts and for emergency requests in the smaller counties of Nevada; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN
SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1-1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General
1-2 Fund to the Retired Justice Duty Fund the sum of $225,026 for
1-3 salaries for senior judges to increase coverage in the Second and
1-4 Eighth Judicial Districts and for emergency requests in the smaller
1-5 counties of Nevada.
1-6 Sec. 2. Any remaining balance of the sum appropriated by
1-7 section 1 of this act must not be committed for expenditure after
1-8 June 30, 2005, and reverts to the State General Fund as soon as all
1-9 payments of money committed have been made.
2-1 Sec. 3. This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
