AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Health Division of the Department of Human Resources for an unanticipated shortfall in money for Fiscal Year 2002-2003 resulting from the increased cost of the maintenance of effort requirement for the Substance Abuse and Treatment Block Grant; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State General

1-2  Fund to the Health Division of the Department of Human Resources

1-3  the sum of $38,915 for an unanticipated shortfall in money for

1-4  Fiscal Year 2002-2003 resulting from the increased cost of the

1-5  maintenance of effort requirement for the Substance Abuse and

1-6  Treatment Block Grant. This appropriation is supplemental to that

1-7  made by section 19 of chapter 570, Statutes of Nevada 2001, at page

1-8  2861.


2-1  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
