AN ACT making a supplemental appropriation to the Department of Motor Vehicles for an unanticipated shortfall in money for Fiscal Year 2002-2003 resulting from increased postage rates and mailing requirements; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, REPRESENTED IN

SENATE AND ASSEMBLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

 

1-1  Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the State

1-2  Highway Fund to the Department of Motor Vehicles the sum of

1-3  $470,000 for an unanticipated shortfall in money for Fiscal Year

1-4  2002-2003 resulting from increased postage rates and mailing

1-5  requirements. This appropriation is supplemental to that made by

1-6  section 30 of chapter 570, Statutes of Nevada 2001, at page 2864.

1-7  Sec. 2.  This act becomes effective upon passage and approval.
