  • Chapter 433.
  • Sections 1 and 30 of this act effective June 13, 2007. Sections 13 to 29, inclusive, of this act effective June 13, 2007, for the purpose of adopting regulations and conducting any preliminary activities necessary to ensure that the provisions of this act are carried out in an orderly fashion and on October 1, 2007, for all other purposes. Sections 1.3, 1.7, 3, 5 and 7 to 10 inclusive, of this act effective October 1, 2007. Sections 2, 11 and 12 of this act effective March 1, 2008. Sections 3 and 5 of this act expire by limitation on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to make it unlawful for a person to operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or greater as a condition to receiving federal funding for the construction of highways in this State. Sections 4 and 6 of this act effective on the date of the repeal of the federal law requiring each state to make it unlawful for a person to operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or greater as a condition to receiving federal funding for the construction of highways in this State.
