- Effective June 2, 2007. Section 3 of this act expires by limitation on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 654 requiring each state to impose an annual fee of $25 in the case of a person who has never received assistance pursuant to Title IV of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 601 et seq., and for whom the State has collected $500 or more of support are repealed by the Congress of the United States.
