  Revises provisions governing homes for individual residential care and other facilities and agencies licensed by the Health Division of the Department of Health and Human Services. (BDR 40-335)

  Makes various changes concerning the right of certain persons to purchase or possess a firearm. (BDR 14-271)
• AB73   Effective January 1, 2010.
  Makes various changes to provisions governing watercraft. (BDR 43-345)
• AB123   Sections 1, 15, 16, 17, 24 and 27 of this act effective May 22, 2009, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2010, for all other purposes. Sections 2 to 14, inclusive, 18 to 23, inclusive, 25 and 26 of this act effective January 1, 2010.
  Revises provisions governing certain offices of physicians and related facilities and surgical centers for ambulatory patients. (BDR 40-215)
• AB148   Sections 1 to 12 and 16, inclusive, and 15 of this act effective January 1, 2010. Sections 13 and 14 of this act effective January 1, 2011.
  Requires certain health and safety training for construction workers and supervisors. (BDR 53-276)
• AB266   Effective January 1, 2010.
  Prohibits the sale of novelty lighters. (BDR 52-569)
• AB287   Sections 5 to 11 and 28, inclusive, 13 to 22, inclusive, and 26 of this act effective May 29, 2009, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2010, for all other purposes. Sections 1 to 4, inclusive, 23, 24, 25 and 27 of this act effective July 1, 2009. The provisions of sections 11 and 20 of this act expire by limitation on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 666 requiring each state to establish procedures under which the state has authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of professional, occupational and recreational licenses of persons who: (a) Have failed to comply with a subpoena or warrant relating to a proceeding to determine the paternity of a child or to establish or enforce an obligation for the support of a child; or (b) Are in arrears in the payment for the support of one or more children, are repealed by the Congress of the United States. Section 12 of this act effective on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 666 requiring each state to establish procedures under which the state has authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of professional, occupational and recreational licenses of persons who: (a) Have failed to comply with a subpoena or warrant relating to a proceeding to determine the paternity of a child or to establish or enforce an obligation for the support of a child; or (b) Are in arrears in the payment for the support of one or more children, are repealed by the Congress of the United States.

• AB296   Effective January 1, 2010.
  Revises provisions governing certain nonprofit carriers of elderly persons or persons with disabilities. (BDR 58-1116)
• AB350   Sections 21.3, 21.7 and 22 of this act effective June 9, 2009. Section 1.7 of this act effective June 9, 2009, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2010, for all other purposes. Sections 2.5 to 21, inclusive, of this act effective July 1, 2009.

• AB455   Effective January 1, 2010.
  Provides for self-registration of certain motor vehicles. (BDR 43-877)
• AB469   Effective April 16, 2009. Sections 2 and 3 of this act expire by limitation on January 1, 2010, or the date that federal sharing is no longer authorized pursuant to section 2005(a) of Public Law No. 111-5, whichever is later.
  Revises provisions governing unemployment compensation. (BDR 53-1275)
• AB496   Effective January 1, 2010.

• SB182   Section 43 effective June 9, 2009. Section 39 effective June 9, 2009 for the purpose of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2010, for all other purposes. Sections 1 to 38, inclusive, 40, 41 and 42 effective October 1, 2009.

Sections 9, 13 and 22 effective October 1, 2011.
