Revises the amount paid to witnesses for mileage in traveling to and from a proceeding. (BDR 4-1176) - AB375
Section 1 and sections 2 to 12.4, inclusive, and section 13, of this act effective: (a) June 1, 2007, for the purposes of adopting regulations and October 1, 2007, for all other purposes. Sections 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 12.8 of this act effective June 1, 2007, for purpose of adopting regulations, administering examinations as set forth in section 1.4 of this act and approving courses of continuing education as set forth in section 1.8 of this act; and (b) July 1, 2008, for all other purposes.
Revises certain provisions governing mortgages. (BDR 54-393) - AB424
Sections 1 to 15, inclusive, 16, 17 to 20, inclusive, 22 to 99, inclusive, 100 and 101 of this act effective: (a) June 14, 2007, for the purpose of adopting regulations to carry out the amendatory provisions of this act, and (b) July 1, 2007, for all other purposes. Sections 15.5 and 16.5 of this act effective July 1, 2008. Section 61.5 of this act expires by limitation on June 30, 2009. Section 8 of this act expires by limitation December 31, 2009. Section 99.5 of this act effective January 1, 2010. Section 36 of this act expires by limitation on June 30, 2013. Section 99.7 of this at effective July 1, 2013. Section 20 of this act expires by limitation on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 666 requiring each state to establish procedures under which the state has authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of professional, occupational and recreational licenses of persons who: (a) Have failed to comply with a subpoena or warrant relating to a proceeding to determine the paternity of a child or to establish or enforce an obligation for the support of a child; or (b) Are in arrears in the payment for the support of one or more children, are repealed by the Congress of the United States. Section 21 of this act effective on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 666 requiring each state to establish procedures under which the state has authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of professional, occupational and recreational licenses of persons who: (a) Have failed to comply with a subpoena or warrant relating to a procedure to determine the paternity of a child or to establish or enforce an obligation for the support of a child; or (b) Are in arrears in the payment for the support of one or more children, are repealed by the Congress of the United States. Sections 47.5 and 49 of this act effective October 1, 2007. Sections 47 and 47.6 of this act effective July 1, 2008. Section 55.5 of this act expires by limitation December 31, 2015.

Section 8 expires by limitation June 30, 2008. Sections 6 and 8.5 effective July 1, 2008. Sections 2 and 6 expire by limitation November 29, 2008. Sections 2.5, 6.5, 9.3, 9.7 and 15 effective November 30, 2008.
